TODAY’S TOUGH SPORTS NEWS

Ugh. How dare they cut him? He was so valuable to not just the team, but the community. Everyone rallied around him so much. What were the Jaguars thinking, cutting Jeff Tuel?!

Kidding, of course. The news I really refer to concerns our beloved Bills and the cuts they made today to get down to 75 players. Really? They Couldn’t have kept Ross Cockrell?

Ok, fine. I don’t like the Fred Jackson release… but I get it. They released Thurman at 34. They have faith in the younger guys to step up. He’ll be missed as part of the community and in the locker room, but it had to be done sooner or later.

Kudos to our King of The Hill from yesterday, Jake Arietta. He no-hit the Dodgers, and celebrated in style.

The Blue Jays are doing pretty well too. Maybe… too well…

From headline to comments, absolutely nothing about this John Daly story surprises me. Nothing.

I don’t know about you, but I would totally drive a Mitsubishi Fhqwhgads.

HIPSTER SONG OF THE DAY

I’ve been very loose with the term ‘hipster’ in these selections. Most of the time they’re just songs I like, regardless of age, popularity or musical style. No doubt about today’s song, or its hipsterdom. Just listen to it.
