Before I get into the silly side of sports, credit needs to be given to PK Subban. He was today’s “King of the Hill” on the show for his wonderful charity work. He’ll be donating a huge amount of his own money to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
SLICK NEW LOOKS IN THE NHL
It’s the law, apparently. When a team moves to the Barclays Center, they have to adopt all-black everything uniforms.
The Islanders aren’t the only ones sporting new duds. Check out Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner’s new mask.
And finally, come to think of it, Brent Burns looks a little different… Nah, nevermind. I must be just seeing things.

Everyone in the NHL has been showing off their new looks in the EA NHL 16 video game (at least, those that got a new look far back enough for them to actually include it). Naturally, when the game comes out, everyone obsesses over the ratings. We’re sports people, we love the numbers and stats, it’s what we do. Most of the players were pretty close with their guesses, or just pretended they didn’t know their rating when they really did. The best one in that video is Tarasenko. He doesn’t BS anyone.
That poor Cleveland fireworks guy. If you hadn’t heard, the Royals were in Cleveland last night, and after an Alex Rios homer, someone got a bit trigger-happy.
