First of all, a HUGE thank you to Delaware North and executive chef Andy Altomare for coming into the studio and delivering these beautiful pieces of food. The moment I got a whiff of the Jerry Hughes Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, I was practically drooling. And then I looked over at the braised beef tacos, and they smelled even better. So, let’s break these down one at a time so you can get a glimpse and see what you want to eat at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

My goodness, this is a chicken sandwich with chicken tenders soaked in wing sauce, topped with bleu cheese coleslaw and surrounded under 2 maple waffles. Your taste buds will go nuts as you adjust to the hot, then sweet flavors with every bite. For those who don’t like coleslaw because of the mayonnaise, you’ll like this because it’s made with bleu cheese. So you got your shredded lettuce and carrots with bleu cheese and wing sauce, it’s basically chicken wings. This was my first experience eating a chicken waffle sandwich, and it lives up to the hype. This dish is best served warm and it gets a little messy. If  you own a white jersey, I’d be a little cautious with this one. Don’t be afraid to cover yourself with napkins.

Oh baby, these braised beef tacos were INCREDIBLE. The shredded braised beef was cooked perfectly, I can’t express that enough. Tender and juicy, easy to pull apart, and most of all, just done right! It’s got Yancey’s Fancy cheese and a horseradish sauce, which compliment the beef so well. Along with a bed of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes, you’ll also find crispy shoestring onions on top. The whole combination is perfect, it’s easily worth whatever the price and these things are massive! I ate one and was full, I wanted to eat another but I couldn’t. These are great for sharing and if you like beef tacos, I’d recommend this. Keep the horseradish sauce even if you don’t like horseradish, it provides just the right amount of kick. This is a dish that truly belongs in Buffalo as it fits the rest of the beef on weck family.

You can find these foods at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday. Thanks again to Delaware North and Andy Altomare for coming in and letting us sample!
