Today on this Monday Bucky & Sully Show, we recapped a non-Bills weekend of football in the NFL. Obviously our Bets from Friday were a hot topic and the guys figured out and award the man who won…who was it? The Sabres are OFFICIALLY HOT, if they werent already. The depth is finally starting to show and the guys made sure to get into all of the details from their 2 victories on the road from over the weekend.
We also previewed the Sabres game tonight in Pittsburgh versus the Penguins as well as what the teams success thus far in the season means for the the short term and the long term. Eichel and Hutton along with Pominville are all showing extensive signs of leadership that we believe are leading to the teams success. Has Housley established a winning and positive culture here in Buffalo on the ice?
The Bills host the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend in Orchard Park after the AFC East bye week and Bucky & Sully are rarin and ready to go in regards to breaking down all of the individual matchups. They’ll also discuss the struggles the Jags have faced thus far in this NFL season and where/what the Bills can take advantage in order to be successful this weekend.
We go a chance to lap around the NFL and look at some of the biggest storylines in the league including key injuries, updates on position changes and surprise victories galore from this past weekend. What were some of the scores from NFL week 11? We got all of that on this Monday show!
Bucky’s infamous BUCK UP stole the show in the second hour and then was QUICKLY outreached by Jerry’s SALTY SULLY at the top of the third hour!
Our THERMOSTATS were HOTTER THAN EVER and they showed the mercury at the end of the hour! And how could we forget our Friday Show SHOUTOUTS!

HOUR 1:First hour we got into the steaming hot buffalo Sabres who came back to steal two victories over the weekend and take on the Penguins in downtown Pittsburgh tonight. We went over some of the sound and analysis from the games and the guys talked progress and what the teams future may hold ! Obviously the Bills are back to work this week along with the rest of the AFC east who enjoyed ha bye week this past weekend. So we didn’t waste any time checking in on them and beginning a preview of the week 12 matchup versus the Jacksonville Jags.
HOUR 2: For the second hour (after Bucky’s top of the hour BUCK UP) we got back into some hockey and what the Sabres can potentially reach, point total-wise, and the success they’ve enjoyed thus far! What are they doing so well? What needs to improve still? The guys break it ALL down! We also updated ourselves and you on the status of all the local college teams including UB, Niagara, Canisus and more (hoops and football) & where they are all headed this season!
HOUR 3: Jerry had some pent up frustration from over the weekend and it showed its ugly head in SALTY SULLY to kick off the hour. Who took the brunt of it? We didnt wanna know…but you sure do! We got back into the Buffalo Sabres and their matchup tonight versus the Penguins. We also got into the Bills game coming up this Sunday, post-Thanksgiving against the Jags here at home. Our show Shoutouts closed out the show and they were very fitting after this successful Sabres weekend.
