Today on this packed Thursday Bucky & Sully Show brought you ALL around the sports landscape in our “Headlines”! Touching all around the NHL, NBA, NFL offseason and more!
Today after another day of the NFL combine coverage, we had The Athletic Buffalo’s Matthew Fairburn call in from Indy with a report on the Bills and what he thinks of the prospects at the event. He also got into some draft talk with us as well as what he thinks the Bills need to address come draft time and free agency.
We were joined early by Rich Cimini of ESPN’s NFL Nation. He currently is down at the combine as well covering general NFL draft news and we got tons of great stuff while talking with him. We asked him about the #1 overall pick, who it should be, as well as asked him about Kyler Murray and his thoughts on the Bills draft needs and some of the teams the Bills should be concerned with.
NBA is in its final stretch with just over 20 games left to play, will Lebron bring the Lakers to the playoffs? What about Harper? Where will he end up at this point in early-spring training? We dove into these throughout the show.
Finally we were joined by our weekly Sabres and Hockey Buzz expert Mike Augello to get us ready for the Sabres Pens game tomorrow night and help us make sense of what their direction and aim should be for the rest of the season and for the future, next season and on, moving forward.
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
