Today on this packed Friday Bucky & Sully Show brought you ALL around the sports landscape in our “Headlines”! Touching all around the NHL, NBA, NFL offseason and more!
Today after another day of the NFL combine coverage, we had Mike Rodak on to talk NFL Combine news, results of weigh ins and update us on the drills and happenings regarding Bills prospects, etc. as we all watch from Buffalo.
NBA is in its final stretch so we had Brady Trantham of the 1077 The Franchise in OKC. He covers the Thunder and helped us understand more about what is facing the team as they head with a trajectory towards the post season with their potential MVP candidate Paul George…and don’t forget about Russ.
As we also prepared for UB to head into March and hopefully deep into the tournament, HC of the Bulls Nate Oats joined us in the first hour to talk their match up tonight on the road versus Miami in Ohio.
Kelly Iko of The Athletic Houston called in to update us on the Rockets push for the playoffs after the recent return of Chris Paul to help subdue the pressures of James Hardens 30+ game 30 point streak. He also helped us lay out the landscape of the NBA playoffs and whether Lebron and the Lakers can move in and cause a scare in the post-season.
Mike Augello of the Hockey Buzz came by to talk Sabres matchup with the Penguins tonight at Keybank, as well as what they need to do to improve both now and in the near and distant future. This all in the name of building toward success. Mike joins us every THURSDAY but was nice enough to stop by today!
Finally we were joined by Andrew Beaton of the Wall Street Journal! He covers all things NFL…that’s right ALL THINGS! He is currently covering NFL free agency, the Robert Kraft situation, Colin Kaepernick and the latest headlines grabbing the nations attention.
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
