Today after the another rough stretch of hockey, in reality it has been all year, we don’t know what to think about the Sabres, their playoff chances…FOR NEXT YEAR and their progress moving forward.

We brought in Nick Filipowski of WIVB Channel 4 Sports to help us organize and collect our thoughts on the Sabres organization as a whole as well as where they are headed. Nick is always great on TV and is a friend of the show. He brought everything he had and we even had some time to touch on the Bills with him as well.
Finally we wrapped up the Tuesday 4pm deadline on the NFL’s use of the franchise tag/tenders around the league, which teams did what and which players would benefit.
UB Mens played last night and we recapped that which was an 82-79 victory for the Bulls at Ohio (Bobcats), helping them clinch their 2nd straight outright MAC Championship. UB Mens Hoops & Athletics SID Brian Wolff joined us talking good friend of the show Nate Oats and his crew and how good they look for a strong close to the end of the season before entering the tournament this month.
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
NCCC Womens College Hoops are dominating their league 31-0 this year. We had coach Nate Beutel on to discuss their success and what it takes to make a statement like this is ANY league.
