Today on this packed Jerry Sullivan Show we brought you ALL around the sports landscape in our “Headlines”! Touching all around the NHL, NBA, NFL offseason and more!
Andy Herman covering the Packers on his ‘Pack-A-Day’ Podcast and many other associations, joined us in the first hour to talk about the draft from a Green Bay POV. We also checked in on any Aaron Rodgers and rookie HC Matt Lafleur!
ANDY:
We had our buddy Mike Arace from the Columbus Dispatch in to talk about the Blue Jackets surging and surprising success they have enjoyed in these playoffs thus far. He got into some of the details of how they turned in around and helped us preview the game coming up tonight in Columbus.
MIKE:
We also were joined by Matt Derrick from Chiefs Digest covering the KC Chiefs. He lent us some insight and shed as much light as he could on the Tyreek Hill situation and where the team and the league as well as Hill are on the controversy to this point.
MATT:
Our friend and weekly guest Mike Augello of Hockey Buzz joined us in studio to talk the Sabres HC search as well as some Sabres news and rumors hes heard regarding Jeff Skinner and the team development. We also got around the NHL playoffs with Mike too.
MIKE:
Luke DeCock of the News & Observer in North Carolina called the show to talk his Hurricanes dominating performance thus far through 3 games against the Islanders. The have a commanding lead of 3 games to none in the series and are looking to close out the Isles at home.
LUKE:
Finally we were joined by Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News. The one and only Mr. Skurski broke down what he saw in the draft from this past weekend for the Bills and how he thinks the new picks will fit in. We also talked some roster building and construction with him as well as some general headlines from One Bills Drive.
JAY:
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
