Today on this packed Jerry Sullivan Show we brought you ALL around the sports landscape in our “Headlines”! Touching all around the NHL, NBA, NFL offseason and more!
Fresh off the PGA Championship this weekend which saw Brooks Koepka take his fourth major win, we spoke with the Buffalo News’ Jay Skurski on the feat and got his perspective on the win for Koepka as well as some Bills analysis!
JAY:
We had Nichaolas Mendola, writer for NBC Sports Soccer and co-owner of the local FC Buffalo soccer squad on early to discuss the hire of Ralph Krueger by the Sabres, considering all of the experience Nick has had around the exec and the way Football Clubs are managed. We compared the pluses and minuses of Krueger in the transition from FC Exec to hockey head coach!
NICHOLAS:
We had Josh Reed on from WIVB Channel 4 sports to discuss what he anticipates seeing at OTA’s as they kick off today and provide some insight as he gets ready to head down to media avalilability opening up tomorrow! He broke down some of the things that are due to come up when talking to players such as the LeSean McCoy drama POTENTIALLY taking hold in the RB room.
JOSH:
Joining us from Rochester for his weekly appearance was Sal Maiorana of the Rochester D&C discussing his “excitement” as he gets ready to head down to OTA’s tomorrow. He gave us some of his takes on what hes looking to see develop for the team changing over from last season and adding some pretty highly touted draft picks!
SAL:
We had Rich Cimini of ESPN NFL Nation covering the Jets in NYC! He offered his opinions and the latest on the drama surrounding the NY Jets, Leveon Bell and their new HC turned quasi-GM Adam Gase and the acting-owner! He had plenty of info for us and even gave us his takes on the AFC East and the Bills!
RICH:
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
