Today on this packed Jerry Sullivan Show we brought you ALL around the sports landscape in our “Headlines”! Touching all around the NHL, NBA, NFL offseason and more!
As the NFL off-season workouts are fully under way, we spoke with Jenny Vrentas of Sports Illustrated covering all things NFL! She broke down some of the off-season storylines, headlines and rumors and even gave us some analysis on what she sees for this local Buffalo Bills team.
JENNY:
We had our weekly segment with Bradley Gelber just before the top of the second hour and he always brings it in regards to Bills knowledge and insight. Brad helped us make sense of some of things we are seeing & hearing out of OTA’s and what he expects on the injury news from for this Buffalo squad.
BRAD:
Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News called in in the middle of the second hour to discuss his Sabres he covers daily, including details on the Skinner rumors and more breakdown of the coaching hire. We also discussed the roster moving forward and even got into some MLB stuff with Mike!
MIKE:
Joining us LIVE from the Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill in Rochester was John Wawrow of the AP! He usually is covering Bills, Sabres and other local topics from a national perspective but he is in our sister city doing his due dillegence.
JOHN:
Larry Ott of the Buffalo News as well, covering all things auto-racing including local and national headlines such as Lancaster Speedways renaming and the Indy 500 this weekend!
LARRY:
Finally, we had Marc Stein of the NY Times, NBA Guru and go-to NBA Twitter man! He is Buffalo native who moved around quite a lot as a kid but always keeps his Sabres in his heart! We got his opinion on the Sabres different situations as well as his high IQ analysis of the NBA and its squads.
MARC:
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
