THE COLUMN with Sully kicked off the show as always!
From NBC Sports Soccer and the local Buffalo FC (as part owner) Nicholas Mendola joined us to prep for the World Cup kicking off and update us on the latest happenings in the world of soccer…including some controversy’s.
NICK:
Brad Gelber of USA Today BillsWire called in in his usual spot to discuss his latest findings and observations at Bills OTA’s as they wrap up this week and we prep for mandatory Mini Camps! He had a brerakdown of Josh Allen as well as some of the rookies he’s been keeping a close eye on.
BRAD:
Jim Passon, author of ‘The Hidden Ball Trick’ and baseball stat savant called in for his radio debut with us to discuss his book and his passion for the sport; therefore his in depth knowledge of Jerry’s favorite thing in sports: STATISTICS!
JIM:
We had Larry Ott of the Buffalo News on to disucss the latest in NASCAR and local Auto-Racing. We were joined in studio during the segment by Carl Russo from 97 Rock to help us get into some of the important things happening across the sport.
LARRY:
Finally, with the Belmont Stakes on its way TOMORROW, we brought on our horse expert from the DailyRacingBlog.com Mike Kelly to breakdown the race and give us his predictions and thoughts. Mike is always fun to talk with and we learn a lot as well!
MIKE:
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
