From the AP covering Buffalo sports from and for a national perspective is John Wawrow, and he joined us right off the bat. He came by to shoot bull and give us his takes on the latest Skinner signing details/opinions, Sabres rumors and Bills stuff as he heads to mandatory mini camps today!
JOHN:
Kevin Massare of TrainwreckSports and BulletPoints716 as well as Yankees backer and manager of @BPCrewWNY came on the show in the second hour to discuss the most recent UB Bulls recruiting and transfers as well as what he anticipates from the teams for the upcoming season. Being the Yankees guy that he is, we also got into some MLB talk and got his analysis on whats been going right for the NYY AND what he expects the season to shape up to be for them.
KEVIN:
Dennis Bernstein of the Fourth Period and good friend of the show has had some very firey and deserved takes on the price to pay Jeff Skinner…and 9 million was too much for him. So with the news of the extension for Skinner, Dennis offered his thoughts on the over-reach of a deal the Sabres gave to Skinner and whether it was to compensate for the loss of ROR and more?

Finally, we had a live stream via WIVB News (Channel 4) of Sean McDermotts presser at mandatory mini camps today and that took place in the early part of the last hour.
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
