Today on this packed FRIDAY Bucky & Sully Show we had a ton of INTERVIEWS with NFL Wild Card round related people from all over the football and football media world!
The Sabres took on the Panthers at home last night and we discussed the outcome which saw the Sabres end the night victorious (4-3) in regulation.
As we prepared for the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs to begin this weekend, we were joined earlier in the week by LA Chargers GM Tom Telesco, whose squad has a matchup this weekend at the Baltimore Ravens.
Bob Kravitz of The Athletic – Indy joined us in the first hour and he got into all of the preparation taking place for the Colts as they head into Houston.
Bucky & Sully were joined in the second segment of the ten oclock hour by Rich Cimini of ESPN-NY, covering the Jets. We asked him about all of the big names stopping through the Jets facility to interview for their head coaching vacancy! These names include: Mike McCarthy, Adam Gase and KC’s Eric Bieniemy.
In the third hour we were joined by former Bills QB and current Bengals QB coach Alex Van Pelt to talk all of the head coaching moves, the progression of the young QBs in the league, including Buffalo’s own Josh Allen. Alex also is a former QB coach of Packers’ Aaron Rodgers…interesting…so we asked him about it!
Obviously at the top of our second hour we got a very assertive Bucky featured in his daily spot BUCK UP! Then, in our third hour, to kick it off, Jerry was extra-super salty in his SALTY SULLY!
Our THERMOSTATS were peppered throughout the show and we satisfied the waiting ears with some very tantalizing stats regarding what the guys feel are OUT OF THIS (SPORTS) WORLD! Back TOMORROW at 9!
We also heard, as we do every day, the guys SHOUTOUTS and acknowledgments to some great sports stories.
