Today on this packed Jerry Sullivan Show we brought you ALL around the sports landscape in our “Headlines”! Touching all around the NHL, NBA, NFL offseason and more!
Calling in to talk with us bright and early was Nick Filipowski, our buddy from Channel 4 sports and he broke down all of the Sabres news and Bills off-season moves and news that has been occurring since we last heard from him.
With all of the contract extension news, rumors and issues, we brought in Buffalo native and show frequent-er Mike Ginnitti of Spotrac.com! He got us up to date on the information regarding some of the big contracts being signed as well as rumors around free agents and deals we only go to Mike for!
We also were joined by longtime Jerry friend Geoff Jacobs of the Connecticut Post ! Hes covering the UConn Womens BBall run in the NCAA tourney and we also got into some other New England news and sporting issues happening throughout the sports-verse.
Joining us as well was Mike Cairns of SpecSports360 in Tampa covering all things Tampa and South Florida sports! He used to call UB games nationally on TV and now checks in with us every now and again to get some Southern updates for us in the world of sports down there!
We also were visited by Mike Kelly, a horse racing expert and friend of the show who had an opinion on the horse deaths occurring at a rapid pace the past few months in the sport.
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
