As the NFL OTA’s continue for the Buffalo Bills here in orchard Park, our weekly segment with our Rochester D&C guy, Sal Maiorana was scheduled alittle earlier as Sal heads down to One Bills Drive. We got into that alittle bit with him as well as his take on Billy Buckner’s death and Jerrys ‘Column’ on such.
SAL:
We had our weekly segment with John Wawrow as he came in studio to talk all things Buffalo sports including the Bills and Sabres & even his coverage of the Senior PGA Championship in Rochester at Oak Hill.
JOHN:
Nick Filipowski of the Channel 4, WIVB Sports Team called in in the second hour to discuss the latest he’s been hearing and covering regarding the Bills at their OTA’s as well as the Buffalo Sabres off-season news and rumblings about Jeff Skinner.
NICK:
Joining us from NYC and the New York Daily News was Kristie Ackert who covers the New York Yankees beat, and does it very well! She updated us on the latest Yankees injuries and where those injured players are at in recovery as well as what she expects from the surging NY team as the season heeds on.
KRISTIE:
Byron Dafoe called in in the last segment. The former Bruins goalie great and now NHL savamt lent us his thoughts on the Bruins run at the Cup and how many games he thinks they can wrap it up versus the Blues in.
BYRON:
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
