Its Thursday and although we usually have Mike Augello In studio, today we had Lyndsey D’Arcangelo from the Athletic Buffalo to talk everything in the latest headlines for sports and more! She covers the WNBA and has been on top of the drama surrounding the reprise of National Womens Hockey League.
Joining us bright and early was Mike Vaccaro from the New York Post in NYC. He stops by every so often and this week it was to discuss the Bills at Giants taking place in the Meadowlands for the second straight week for the Bills.
MIKE:
Moe Neal is a senior RB at the University of Syracuse and their Orange football team and he joined us in the first hour for a few minutes to discuss their first two weeks of the season. We also talked a bit about their big matchup at home against #1 Clemson.
MOE:
From News 4 WIVB Sports, our weekly buddy Nick Filipowski joined us in the second hour to discuss some of the latest Bills, Sabres and national headlines and catchup on some local takes on the sports scape!
NICK:
Our weekly buddy from Cover1.net is none other than Russell Brown! He stops by every Wednesday and helps us breakdown the more “x’s & o’s” layers of this past weeks game. He also discussed some college football such as the Orange and the Bulls as well as preview this week 2 matchup versus the Giants for the Bills.
RUSS:
Finally, we were joined by Jamie Boyar, soccer star for Daemen College and daughter of Stu Boyar, sportscaster on WGRZ Channel 2 in Buffalo!

We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
