Calling in with us bright and early was Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. Longtime friend of Sully and the show, Geoff helped us preview the Bengals ahead of their matchup in OP versus the 2-0 Bills.
GEOFF:
From the Buffalo News, longtime sportswriter and baseball guru Mike Harrington gave us a ring in the first hour to shoot the bull and fill us in on whats going on with the Sabres after their preseason opening win 5-4 over the Pens. We also talked some MLB post-season as it quickly approaches!
MIKE:
Matt Lombardo, from the NJ Media Group/NJ DOT COM checked in with us in the second hour to let us know the latest in the Eli Manning benching news and the beginning of the Daniel Jones era in NY.
MATT:
Longtime, award winning sportswriter and sports commentator in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Ray Didinger called at the end of the second hour to breakdown the UB/Temple matchup as he is an Alum AND has covered the school for many years.
RAY:
Finally, we had our buddy from WIVB Sports, channel 4 here in Buffalo, Josh Reed! He stopped by via phone in the third hour to get into more preview stuff for Bills-Bengals here in Orchard Park for their home opener!
JOSH:
We also had the phone lines open and buzzing, taking calls and comments on many of these very inviting topics. All we ask is that you BRING IT!!!!!!! Our ‘Sports Update” also kept us up to date as far as locally and nationally.
